LBBC Baskerville teams up with University of Leeds on KTP

LBBC Baskerville teams up with The University of Leeds on a KTP project

LBBC Baskerville, autoclave manufacturers in Leeds, have teamed up with The University of Leeds on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project. The project will look at the opportunity to develop a range of innovative high pressure autoclave incorporating, continuous, real-time monitoring of the corrosion process being investigated within the vessel.

Danny Burkle who will be leading the project, holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and is about to complete a PhD in oilfield corrosion from The University of Leeds. Danny has 4 years’ experience in the oil & gas and steel industries working on a range of projects with BP, Petrofac and Tata Steel Projects. He is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Danny Burkle, said “This is an extremely exciting and challenging project which has relevance throughout LBBC’s product range and business. The results and findings from this project can be applied through LBBC Baskerville’s product range. This partnership with LBBC will ultimately increase the efficiency and quality of the development of autoclave systems for corrosion testing.”
